How to schedule a report in BigChange

BigChange offers a robust reporting feature that allows users to create, schedule, and manage reports efficiently. This guide will walk you through the process of creating a report schedule, setting up templates, and viewing or editing existing schedules.

Creating a Report Schedule

Selecting and Generating a Report

  • Select 'Analytics & Report' from the top menu and select and filter the desired report.
  • Set parameters using filters to tailor the report to your needs.
  • Select 'View' to generate a sample of the report.

Scheduling the Report

  • Navigate to Reports → Schedule → Create schedule.

  • Configure the email settings, including the recipient's details.
  • Set the recurrence and period for the report to be sent.
  • Choose the format in which the report will be delivered.
  • Decide whether to send the reports as attachments or links with a 15-day expiry.

Below is an example of a scheduled timesheet worksheet report (based on your current filetrs) for delivery every Monday morning by email at 8am for the previous 7 days.

Viewing & Editing Schedules

Accessing Scheduled Reports

Navigate to Analytics & Reporting in top menu.

  1. Select schedule in the side menu.
  2. All schedules
  3. Select the schedule you would like to edit.
  4. Select Edit.

User Access and Permissions

  • Administrators have sitewide access to all scheduled reports.
  • Standard users can view and manage only their own reports.
