Navigating to Quotation Custom Fields
- Select the Account setting icon in the top menu.
- Select Settings.
- In the side menu, select Financial documents'
- Select the Financial documents custom fields.
Selecting the Document Type
- Select the Document type drop down list for which you want to add custom fields for.
- A drop down list will appear where you can select Quotation.
Adding Custom Field Details
- Select Add.
- Enter a name for the Field Label.
- Select a type of field (some additional fields will appear depending on what type you choose)
- Specify whether the field is mandatory.
Mandatory Fields
- If you confirm a mandatory field, a conditional field will appear.
- This conditional field will ask if you require a specific yes/no answer or if any answer is acceptable.
- If a specific response is required, it will force the respondent to give that answer before proceeding.
Custom Field on Quotation
When generating a quotation, you'll observe that under the Recurrences section, there are custom fields available. These fields can store any specific data needed for your quotation. By setting these fields as mandatory, users are compelled to input the necessary information before the quotation can be saved.
