Editing/Deleting Job Recurrences
Editing a Job Recurrence
- If any changes are required, and you need to edit the recurrence, follow the same process as the creation of the recurrence against a job.
- Select "Edit" on the recurrence to make changes as required.
Edit Start Date/Time
- When attempting to change the start date or time of a job with a recurrence against it and selecting "Save", the system will prompt you whether you want to apply the changes only to this job or to the entire series of recurrences.
- If you apply the change to the entire series, this will affect every job which is generated from the recurrence.
Confirm Changes
- Select "OK" to confirm your changes that you have made to the recurrence.
Deleting a Job Recurrence
- When editing a recurrence, select the recycle bin icon to delete the recurrence. This will also remove any job generated by the recurrence which has not been started/completed.
- Save the job once the recurrence has been deleted.
Viewing a Recurrence in the CRM
- When viewing the job against the contact record in the CRM, you will see a circular arrow next to jobs that are recurring.
- Hovering over this arrow will display information about the recurrence frequency.
Re-adjusting Date of Following Occurrences
- If a job is completed on a different date than originally scheduled, you can re-align the following job recurrence with the completion date.
- For example, if a job completes on the 3rd instead of the 4th, future occurrences can be adjusted to reflect the 3rd of the month.
