Creating a Persons Custom Field

To create a Persons Custom Field in BigChange, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Account Settings.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Contact & Notes, from the side menu.
  4. Select Persons custom fields.
  5. Select Add.
  6. Populate the field label text box to give the field a name.
  7. Choose the type of field it will be.
  8. Enter a default value (if applicable).
  9. Confirm whether the new field is mandatory.
  10. Select Ok to save this custom field.

Using the Persons Custom Fields

Once a Persons Custom Field has been created, it will appear when adding new individuals or editing the details of existing individuals in BigChange CRM. This feature allows users to record additional details for each person, thereby enhancing their data management capabilities.

Deleteing a custom field

Deleting a custom field in BigChange is a permanent action and cannot be undone. All the data associated with that field will be lost. Therefore, it's crucial to double-check and confirm that the data in the field is no longer required before proceeding with deletion. 

The system will provide an on-screen warning asking are 'Are you sure you want to delete this custom field?' before the deletion process is completed to remind you of this.
