This article provides a comprehensive guide on how to effectively use the Persons side menu in BigChange. This feature allows users to filter contacts using various parameters, including personal information and consent status, thereby enhancing contact management efficiency and communications.
Filtering Persons using the side menu
The Persons side menu allows you to filter the persons list view using personal and contact information, persons flags (1), and Consent Status (2,3,4), which relates to GDPR.
Using the "Send All" and "Mark All" Features
The 'Send All' (5) feature allows you to send a single email to every person in the List View. By using the filters in the side menu, you can determine the persons included in the list view, and therefore who will receive an email, when selecting "Send All".
The 'Mark All' (6) feature allows you to set consents for multiple persons at the same time. Again, by using the filters in the side menu, you can determine the persons included in the list view, and therefore who be marked as providing consent, when selecting "Send All".
Please note, if no filters are used, all persons will be displayed in the list view, and therefore included when using the "Send All" and "Mark All" features.
Exporting Persons Data
The Persons side menu also allows you to export your persons data out of BigChange.
Conclusion
The Persons side menu in BigChange is a powerful tool for managing persons within your contacts, including communications. By understanding how to use its various features, you can streamline your contact management processes, and ensure compliance with GDPR.
