Managing resource group restrictions
Depending on your requirements, you may have some back-office users that only need access to specific resource/resource groups. Applying restrictions against resource groups is a useful tool that can make your schedule only include relevant information on the engineers you require.
To set-up restrictions of resource groups, follow the below steps:
- Select Account Settings from the top menu.
- Select Settings
- From the side menu, select Web Users
- Select Restrictions.
- Select the web user/user group you want to amend
- Using the tickboxes, select the Resource groups that you want them to have access to. Any unticked resource group will remove the visibility for the web user. Please note that they will not be able to open any job or item that are related to the unticked resource groups
