New Alerts for Change Notifications in BigChange

BigChange has introduced additional alerts to notify users when changes occur in specific areas. This article provides an overview of these alerts and how they function.

  • Sales opportunity
  • Stock item
  • Contract
  • Job updates/cancellations
  • Financial documents
  • Absences

Understanding Alerts

When a change is made to any of the items listed above, all users who have previously accessed that item will receive a notification. This ensures that everyone involved is aware of the latest updates.

Re-opening Items

To view the changes made to an item, users can simply select the "Re-open" option. This allows them to load and review the modifications.

Configuring Alerts

Alerts can be tailored to show specific changes, particularly for absence requests. To ensure the alert reaches the right individuals, remember to add "Email of Resource causing the alert" in the "Send to" field.
