Definition of Planned Stock
- Planned stock refers to the stock items that are allowcated and scheduled to be used for a specific job or project.
- It includes all materials, equipment, and tools that are allocated in advance to ensure they are available when needed.
- These items need to be brought to the job and either left or brought back.
Definition of Actual Stock
- Actual stock refers to the stock items that have been physically used or moved during a job or project.
- It includes all materials, equipment, and tools that have been consumed or relocated on-site.
- These items will have be move/used on a job by the resource using the app. This records a stock movement in BigChange.
Navigating to Templates
- Select Account setting the top menu.
- Select Settings.
- In the Account side menu, select Templates.
Adding or Editing a Template
- Select an existing template to edit or add a new one.
- In the 'Edit template' pop-up, select 'Insert keyword'.
- Navigate to the Jobs tab. Here you will see all the keywords you can select to do with Actual and Planned stock movements.
- Once you have build your parent and sub template using the above keywords.
- Navigate to the Miscellaneous section, select 'Sub template'.
Choosing Sub-Template Options
- The sub-template options will now allow you to choose between 'planned job stock' or 'actual job stock movements'.
- Select the appropriate option based on your requirements.
