Choose who can view financial documents by their type

When choosing which financial documents web-user roles can/cannot view, there is now the opportunity to specify down to an individual financial document type level, of which there are eight: sales opportunities, quotations, proforma invoices, invoices, purchases orders, credit notes, delivery notes and applications for payments.

(Previously, the eight document types were grouped together as ‘financial documents’.)

This improvement will allow administrators to fine-tune exactly who can view which of the document types.

Reminder: To edit what your web users have permission to do, you can modify the roles’ abilities to allow or disallow certain actions. Navigate to: [Top menu] Profile (icon) Admin Settings → Web Users Roles and use the tick boxes to allow ‘roles’ to do the listed actions. Scroll down to see the financial actions available.
