Recurrence Patterns for jobs in BigChange

  • Updated

Recurrence patterns in BigChange provide a streamlined way to manage repetitive tasks by saving and applying frequently used recurrences.

This feature eliminates the need to manually recreate recurrences each time, enhancing efficiency and consistency.

Example 1: Using Recurrences without Patterns

  • Open a job or financial document and once a date has been entered a new setting and button will appear called 'Recurrence'.

  • A pop-up will open for adding a recurrence.
  • Create a recurrence for a job that recurs on the first Monday of each month and ends after 12 occurrences.
    • From the drop-down menu, choose:
      • Week of the month
      • First
      • Monday
    • Recur every 1 month
    • Change the recurrence end from No end to End after 12 occurrences.

Now, with multiple recurrence patterns, you can easily create and apply them to commonly used occurrences.

You can create many variations of recurrence patterns and you can manage them in the list view.

Recurrence patterns can be setup and used for financial documents too by navigating to Account Settings > Settings > Financial > Financial doc recurrence patterns.
