Driving to Jobs

After accepting a job, you need to drive to the job location. This action updates the "Schedule" within the system., showing that you have set off to do a job, enabling your ETA to be calculated.

  • From within a job, select the "Start Driving" button.
  • You will be prompted to use Sat Nav. By default, this uses Google Maps to guide you to your destination.
    • If you select "No" you will be taken to the Job screen.
    • If you select "Yes" you will be shown Google Maps.

Starting the job will end the Driving to Job status.

Starting Jobs

Upon arriving at the job location, you need to start the job. This is crucial as it updates the Standard Job card, which the customer can receive copies of.

  • After finishing the drive to the job location, select the "Start Job" option.
  • You will know this is successful when the icon in the Job Details screen changes.

Completing Jobs

Once a job is completed, you need to finalise it before starting the next one.

  • Select the "Job Result" button.
    1. Result. Choose from a selection of outcomes, which can vary between jobs (these are configured in your instance of BigChange).
    2. Flags. If job flags are required, you can select them from this screen.
    3. Notes. Add notes for the job.
    4. Name, Enter the name of the person signing off the job at the customer site. Selecting the name allows you to change it, if needed.
    5. Notes. Customers can add their own notes.
    6. Signature. Customers can use a stylus or their finger to sign for the job.
    7. Clear Signature. If the signature needs changing or re-doing, you can clear it and re-attempt.
    8. Finish Job. Select to finish the job.
    9. Job Card. Select to view a PDF of how the job card will appear.
