Adding a Contact to the CRM using the BigChange App

This article guides you through a step by step process of adding a new contact to the BigChange CRM using the BigChange App.

To enable Resources to add/create contacts, they must be given the relevant permissions to do so in the system. For more information about managing Resources and their permissions, see article Managing Resources.


Adding a New Contact using the app

To begin, you need to access the CRM section within the BigChange app.

Select the "CRM" button from the "Dashboard" screen.

Before adding a new contact, it's a good idea to check if the contact already exists in your CRM.

Use the Search button to look for a contact name in your CRM

If the contact does not exist, you can proceed to add a new one.

A New Contact form will open. Fill in the necessary fields in the New Contact form. Pay special attention to the address options.

Address Options: You can either type in an address or postcode in the search field or select the compass icon to add your current location.

Once you have completed the form, select "Ok" to save the contact information.
